Media Procedures

BEFORE the festival (now through July 3, 2008)

Media Passes
Media passes are limited to writers and photographers on assignment, covering the festival for a legitimate publication.

To request a media pass under your name, fill out a Media Pass Request Form or print it and fax it to 503-282-0922 ATTN: WBF Media Pass Request. We will review your request and will either confirm or deny it via e-mail or fax. If we approve your request, we will send you additional instructions.

No photographers will be allowed on stage.

ON SITE at the festival (July 4 to 8, 2007)

  • To make arrangements on site for interviews, photographs, etc., or to receive up-to-date information, contact Jean Kempe-Ware, public relations manager, 503-572-7588 (cell). Or check at Information Booth.
  • To check in and receive your media pass, go to the Information Booth by the Workshop Stage and the Kids Blues Lab (double-decker British bus).
  • Please carry your media credentials. Volunteers, who staff the booth, will ask for your credentials and record your arrival time. They will also give you an up-to-date site map and other information.
  • To interview an Oregon Food Bank representative, tell the volunteers at the Oregon Food Bank booth. They will contact the appropriate spokesperson for you. Or call Jean Kempe-Ware, public relations manager, 503-572-7588 (cell).

 Admission
Daily donation of $10 and two cans of food benefits Oregon Food Bank. Help provide the most wanted foods.
